By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, discontinue use. These terms govern website information and enquiries; a signed project agreement separately governs paid work.
Educational information
Articles and diagrams are general Minnesota-oriented information, not engineering, architectural, legal, code, insurance or property-specific advice. Conditions concealed within an existing home cannot be diagnosed from general website content.
Estimates and proposals
A conversation, preliminary range or website statement is not a binding quotation. Scope, price, allowances, exclusions, schedule, payment terms and warranty become binding only in a written agreement accepted by authorized parties.
Storm and insurance matters
We document observable conditions but do not adjust claims, interpret policy coverage, guarantee insurer payment or direct a homeowner to misstate cause. Homeowners remain responsible for policy duties, deductibles, deadlines and communications with their insurer.
Homeowner responsibilities
Accurate property history, safe access, pets, occupants, utilities, known hazards, association rules and decision authority must be disclosed. Permits, access, selections and payment responsibility will be allocated in the project agreement.
Site safety and concealed conditions
Do not climb roofs or enter unsafe areas based on this site. Construction can reveal rot, inadequate framing, hazardous materials or prior noncompliant work. Written agreements describe how concealed conditions and change authorization are handled.
Intellectual property
